Surgical Oncology
Dr. Monisha Gupta has a vast clinical experience of Gynae-oncology of more than 11 years. After pursuing M.S in Gynecology from the University College of medical sciences, Delhi, she underwent extensive training in Gynae-oncology from the prestigious TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai for about 2 years. She gained vast experience in performing all surgical procedures for all Gynecological and breast cancers. Be it Laparoscopic/robotic surgeries for uterine cancers or fertility-sparing surgeries for ovarian/cervical cancers in young girls or Cytoreductive surgeries for advanced ovarian cancers: she is trained in all. She also believes that cancer prevention is always better than cancer treatment and therefore, she has a keen interest in all preventive strategies for women’s cancer. She is also a strong believer in multimodality cancer treatment and the Tumour Board. She has a keen interest in molecular biology and always strives to give personalized cancer care to each patient. She regularly updates herself by participating in national & international conferences as well as publishing in peer-reviewed journals
