Dr. Khushwant Popli is a highly acclaimed and among the top cardiothoracic & vascular surgeons in India. Having over a decade of experience in the busiest healthcare institutions in the country, he specialises in the management and treatment of a range of cardiac conditions. During his MCh training in CTVS, he was involved in 1000s of cardiac surgeries, including Heart Transplant, CABGs, MVRs, DVRs, Bentalls, Complex Congenital Heart Surgeries, ASOs, Fontans, Total Correction for TOFs, TAPVC Repairs, NORWOODs, and various thoracic procedures like VATS, Decortications, Lobectomies, Pneumonectomies and Trauma cases. After cracking one of the toughest exams UPSC with Rank 2, he joined the prestigious Central Health Services (CHS, MOHFW) at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. While serving there, he was part of the First Heart Transplant and Robotic-Assisted Cardiothoracic Surgery of that centre.
